Our Lady of Victories Parish is one of the oldest along the Gulf Coast. It was established in 1855 with Fr. Julian M. Guillou as the first pastor of Pascagoula. As the first pastor of the Pascagoula flock, he did not have a church and probably did not have much temporal support. However, the people of Pascagoula were anxious to have a priest of their own. For decades they had to be satisfied with Mass celebrated only during Easter time.
Ever since our parish had been established, it has grown into a wonderful community of faith. We strivetobe an evangelizing parish, upbuilding each other in love. People in our community seek to know each other and be for each other, especially those who are sick or in need. We are a home with open doors, a family among families, open to bearing witness in today's world, open to faith, hope, and love for the Lord and for those whom He has a preferential love.
We invite you to explore our website and join us for worship and fellowship. Come and become a part of our family!
